Volunteer Opportunities

Peer Counselor – offers clients accurate and complete information about their options, ministers love, acceptance, and understanding.

Moms for Moms – a mentoring program in which an experienced, Christian mother is matched with a new or expectant mother for friendship, support and guidance.

Receptionist – greets clients at the SPC, provides services to support clients and does office tasks such as record keeping, thank you notes, etc.

Helpline Volunteer – takes incoming SPC calls on the Helpline cell phone with the purpose of scheduling appointments for the center, answering questions, and offering support as needed to the caller.

Earn While You Learn – works one-on-one with clients using DVD's and worksheets to foster learning and strong parenting skills. All materials completed give points to the clients to allow them to shop in our Baby Boutique. 

Prayer Team – commits to pray for a specific area of need at the SPC.

Church Representative / Liaison – represents the SPC in their individual chuch and keeps their pastor and congregation appraised of the status and events of the SPC.

Baby Boutique – provides the services necessary to keep the SP&FC maternity and baby clothing and baby equipment organized, stocked, and attractive.
